GRANTS FOR NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS:

NOTIFICATION:  KCSF offers representation support!

The non-governmental organization KCSF within the framework of the EJA Kosovo program, with the aim at strengthening civil society’s role in drafting and implementing policies affecting the communities and the general public provides financial support for regional/international representation of non-governmental organizations. 

For the applicant to be a beneficiary of this support, the representation must cover at least one of the following points: 

• Presentation of the organization’s work to a regional/international audience; 
• Presentation or advocacy of specific issues of interest to the organization or country at regional/international fora; 
• Creating networking or strategic cooperation opportunities with other regional/international organizations and donors; 
• Presentation of experiences and practices of the organization’s work or solving issues of interest to the country or the organization; 

Activities taken into account are: representation in congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, festivals, strategic meetings, various network meetings (assembly of members, boards, committees), and advocacy meetings.

NOTIFICATION:  The Western Balkan Fund invites CSOs to apply for grants of up to €15,000!

The Western Balkan Fund invites all civil society organizations to apply with new project proposals for support to projects that will cover the entire Western Balkans region.

This is the 7th Annual Call for Proposals launched by the WBF and it is co-funded by the European Union, through IPA – Instrument for Pre-Accession Instrument III. According to the Call, the maximum amount of the grant is €15,000.
 The implementation period shall be from April to October 2025.

NOTIFICATION:  UNDP invites CSOs to apply for grants of up to €60,000!

With the support of the European Union (EU), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announces a public call for civil society organizations (CSO) in Kosovo to submit proposals for projects contributing to achieving sustainable peace in the region, leaving more resilient societies and stronger social cohesion.

The Call is open for CSOs registered in Kosovo that deal with the promotion of transitional justice and social dialogue, as well as the protection of human rights. These include victims’ associations, non-governmental, academic, research, or educational institutions, CSOs engaged in cultural development, non-governmental museums, and other non-governmental memorialization institutions, as well as non-governmental sports associations and clubs.

Support amount per project shall be from EUR 5.000 to EUR 60.000.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH:

NOTIFICATION:  The International Organization for Migration (IOM) offers free Albanian and Serbian language courses!

IOM organizes free Serbian and Albanian language courses for all young persons under the age of 24 from the following municipalities:

• Štrpce/Shtrpce,
• Zubin Potok/Zubin Potoku,
• Obiliq/Obilić.

These courses are part of the YESS (Youth Empowered through Inclusive School and Societies) project.

The project is financially supported by the Peace Building Fund in partnership with UNICEF Kosovo Programme and IOM Kosovo.

NOTIFICATION:  The Ministry of Defense is looking for new cadets to study outside of Kosovo!

The Ministry of Defense invites all interested young people, aged 18-20, to apply for cadets who will have the opportunity to be educated and equipped with skills in the following countries:

• in Turkey at the Military Academy of Land Forces, and the Military Medical Academy,
• in North Macedonia at the Military Academy of Land Forces.

NOTIFICATION:  Invitation to participate in a two-day workshop for young students from Kosovo and Serbia!

The non-governmental organization New Social Initiative and the Institute for Social Policy “Musin Kokolari” invite all young students from Kosovo and Serbia who are interested in the normalization of dialogue to register for a two-day workshop that will be held during March.
