The second round table organized by the Office of Community Affairs included the Egyptian community. In this meeting, which was organized on June 30, 2023, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Deputy Prime Minister, Emilija Rexhepi, the Minister of Local Self-Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, MP Fridon Lala and other representatives of the Egyptian community were present.
In addition to marking the Remembrance Day of this community, challenges and opportunities for this community were discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s plans and the completion of the employment quota, especially from the non-majority communities, where through a special program the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities will be included.
Another way that can help these communities are the Superpuna and “Kosovo Generation Unlimited” platforms in acquiring work skills and entering the labor market.
