Invitation for citizen participation in public consultations in the development of Administrative Instruction (MESTI) No. ____/2024 on the establishment and functioning of learning centers.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation invites citizens, civil society organizations, and all interested parties to participate in public consultations to contribute to developing the new Administrative Instruction on the establishment and functioning of learning centers.
This draft Administrative Instruction clearly defines the procedures and criteria for establishing a center, as well as the work of the learning center itself, which provides additional support in the form of educational activities.

A round table was held, and the annual monitoring report on the implementation of the Law on the Use of Languages 02/L-37 in institutions was presented.
On May 22, 2025, the Office of the Language Commissioner presented its report on the annual monitoring of a total of thirteen (13) institutions, of which nine (9) local and four (4) at the central level institutions.
The objective of the report was to present the situation on the ground, after a detailed analysis and assessment through monitoring the level of implementation of the Law on the Use of Languages in the selected institutions. The second objective of the report was to determine the continuity of work and the situation on the ground, to clarify the level of readiness of institutions to meet the demands of citizens in providing services in their native/official language.
The report summarizes the findings from field visits as well as the recommendations given to the municipalities of Rahoveci/Orahovac, Ferizaj/Uroševac, Viti/Vitina, Parteš/Partesh, Kamenicë/Kamenica, Ranilug/Ranillug, Leposavić/Leposaviç, Zubin Potok/Zubin Potoku, and Zvečan/Zveçan, as well as to the ministries: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.

The report on the Kosovo 2025 Parliamentary Elections has been completed and published.
On May 15, 2025, the European Union Election Observation Mission (EOM EU) held a press conference in Prishtinë/Priština presenting its final report on Kosovo 2025 Parliamentary Elections.
The event brought together representatives of international and local institutions, civil society organizations and the media, supporting an open dialogue on the findings and recommendations of the Mission. The final EU EOM report offers a comprehensive assessment of the electoral process, covering key aspects such as voter registration, campaign administration, media coverage, overall implementation of electoral legislation.
The final report and its recommendations call for Kosovo electoral stakeholders to strengthen democratic institutions through open and inclusive dialogue.

GRANTS FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS:
NOTIFICATION: Public call for Civil Society Organizations!
Barabar Community Network (BGN), as part of the BIG project – Barabar (goes to) Community Initiative, invites local-level civil society organizations (CSOs), cultural centers, and youth organizations throughout Kosovo to apply for membership in the newly formed Barabar Community Network (BGN). The BGN will include at least 15 selected CSO’s and at least 10 socially engaged artists, and will serve as a common platform for sharing experiences, capacity building, local initiatives, and involvement in policy making.
Project BIG – Barabar (goes to) Community Initiative is a two-year EU-funded initiative implemented by Integra and CASA, intending to promote social inclusion, civic engagement, and inter-ethnic cohesion in Kosovo through the strategic use of art and culture.
- What do BGN network members get
- Participation in a comprehensive capacity building program (3 thematic trainings on arts and culture for social change, inclusion and fundraising);
- The right to apply for small grants for the implementation of local initiatives (total fund: EUR 80,000);
- Participation in the processes of joint policy creation through two Hackathons of practical policies with institutional stakeholders;
- The opportunity to participate in central and local events dedicated to the development of inclusive cultural policies.
- Who can apply
- Non-profit CSO’s, cultural centers and youth groups registered and active in Kosovo;
- Organizations with experience in social inclusion, civic activism or working with communities through art;
- Applications from women-led organizations and organizations representing non-majority and marginalized communities are particularly encouraged.

- Training: August-October 2025.
- Period of grant awarding and implementation of activities: November 2025 – June 2026.

Barabar Community Network invites all socially engaged women activists and artists throughout Kosovo to apply for membership in the newly founded Barabar Community Network (BGN).
