Call for support in early childhood education
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation announces the opening of the call for registration of early childhood education institutions under the Voucher Program. This time, the call includes all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo where licensed private and public-private institutions operate.
The Voucher Program, to be implemented until June 2028, aims to support families enrolled in the Social Assistance Scheme, through reimbursement of institutions providing education and transport services for children.
MESTI announces that the reimbursement amount for a child’s education will be determined based on the market price and the respective municipality, up to a maximum of 150 Euro per month per child.
Transport costs will be covered only for institutions that provide such service, with the amount determined by the Application Evaluation Committee, depending on the municipality and road distance..
Institutions participating in the pilot phase in the municipalities of Prishtina, Gjilan and Lipjan will also be eligible to apply.

All early childhood education institutions are invited to apply for registration in the program. Following their registration, the application process for children will be launched.
GRANTS FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS
Support for regional/international representation of local NGOs
The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF), through the EJA Kosovo program, provides financial support for the regional and international representation of local non-governmental organizations.
Who can apply?
- Local non-governmental organizations (excluding: sports clubs, sports federations, amateur cultural associations, religious organizations, NGOs representing businesses, and branches of foreign and international NGOs).
- Applicants must be staff members of the organization and adhere to the values of EJA.
Selection criteria:
The representation must aim at least one of the following:
- Presenting the organization’s work in a regional/international forum.
- Advocating for issues of interest to the organization or the country.
- Creating opportunities for networking and strategic cooperations.
- Sharing the organization’s experiences and practices.
Supported activities:
Congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, festivals, strategic and advocacy meetings.

Financial and technical support, mentoring, personalized training and cooperation opportunities are available for organizations from Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Small grants for projects
The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) provides small grants for projects that deliver concrete results within a short timeframe. The grants support initiatives by individuals, unregistered initiatives and local non-governmental organizations for focused projects that address specific issues in their communities.
Who can apply?
- Individuals (citizens of Kosovo)
- Unregistered initiatives
- Registered local non-governmental organizations
Timeframe and budget
- Project duration: maximum 12 months
- Maximum budget: €10,000 (including audits)
