Employment and training for beneficiaries of the Social Assistance Scheme Reform: What do you need to know?
The Ministry of Finance has launched the pilot phase of a major reform for beneficiaries of the Social Assistance Scheme (SAS), with a particular focus on their activation in the labor market. The aim of the reform is to provide financial support to the poorest families by removing discriminatory criteria and to help able-bodied members of SAS beneficiary families find employment and become independent from social assistance.
Are you a beneficiary of the Social Assistance Scheme Reform pilot and looking to find a job or develop your skills? The new SAS reform offers you new opportunities for training, employment, and concrete support to build a better future for yourself and your family.
As part of this reform, Frequently Asked Questions have been published, explaining step by step:
- How to register at the Employment Office,
- What the Individual Employment Plan is,
- How wage subsidies and professional trainings work,
- Who is exempt from the registration requirement,
- How to get help and advice from employment counselors.
We invite you to read this important document at the links below, in Albanian and Serbian, and get informed about the opportunities and responsibilities that apply to you.
