NOTIFICATION: The pilot performance of the reformed social assistance scheme in Kosovo is starting!
On May 18, 2024, the Government representatives, comprising of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers Hekuran Murati, and World Bank expert in capital Mrika Aliu, presented the social assistance reform project.
In his speech, Prime Minister Kurti explained the novelty, that the new scheme would also allow beneficiaries with no children under the age of five to apply, which has not been the case thus far and amounted to a sort of discrimination for such families. In addition, another objective was to improve the mechanisms for cooperation with the Labor Agency, and this objective will also find its place in the new Draft Law on Social Protection.
At the conference was shown how to fill in the application that can be done online, directly by a family member, or through the competent employee of the Center for Social Work in your municipality.

NOTIFICATION: The Ministry of Defense of Kosovo is recruiting new cadets!
The Ministry of Defense is recruiting forty five (45) cadets who will study at following faculties:
- Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) University Studies Center at the American University in Kosovo (AUK) 25 cadets in total,
- Military Academy in Albania, 10 cadets in total, out of whom four cadets to study information technologies in the area of defense, three cadets to study international relationships in the area of defense and three cadets to study communication in the area of defense.
- In Turkey, 8 cadets in total, out of whom five at the Land Military Academy and three at Military Medical Academy (MMA).
- In Croatia, 2 cadets in total, both on Military Academy to study Military Leadership and Management.

Call For Participation In A Study Visit Under The Name “4 Corners Of Kosovo” – Available For All Young People Throughout Kosovo!
The United Nations Mission in Kosovo through the program for youth, peace and security “United Youth Task Force” invites all young people (18-26 years old) to apply for a study visit organized in the municipalities: Kamenica, Prizren, Dečani, Peć, Severna Mitrovica and Zvečan.
The goal of this study visit is to enable the young people from any community in Kosovo to learn about cultural diversity and acquire knowledge and skills to combat stigma, at the same time contribute to their community and proactively engage in the process of building trust.
The visit to municipalities will last 4 days from June 27 to 30, under the name “4 corners of Kosovo”, where participants will have the opportunity to meet with municipal authorities, civil society networks, youth organizations, visit cultural, historical and other wonderful places.
