INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CITIZENS:

NOTIFICATION:  The “Report Discrimination” Platform managed by the Office for Good Governance enabled reporting cases of early marriages. NOTIFICATION: The Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfer of Kosovo is providing subsidies for business in the north of Kosovo!

The Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfer provides subsidies to finance 70% of salaries of new employees for a period of six months. All registered businesses located in North Mitrovica, Zvečan/Zveçan, Zubin Potok and Leposavić/Leposaviq can apply by contacting their respective municipal employment offices, who will provide assistance and explain how to apply. NOTICE – IOM extended the deadline for business proposal application!

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) continues the implementation of the Community Stabilization Program V, which will provide financial and technical assistance to start new or expand existing small and medium enterprises, especially enterprises that promote and strengthen the sustainable reintegration of minority returnees. The EU-CSP V program will continue to support local initiatives that will benefit the wider community by working with community members and individual farmers and producers to explore opportunities for joint action through creation and support of non-majority and inter-ethnic business associations.

NOTICE – KCSF invites non-governmental organizations to apply for institutional grants!

KCSF invites all representatives of non-governmental sector to apply for grants through the Engagement for Joint Action (EJA Kosovo) program, which aims at contributing to democratic and socio-economic development of Kosovo. EJA Kosovo is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Sweden.

Initiatives must include the following elements:

  • Increasing civic engagement in public life through participatory representation of civil society and,
  • Enabling civil society organizations to strengthen relationship with their citizens and improve their organizational capacities.

Organizations are eligible to apply for funding for a period of up to 36 months. The maximum budget requested for funding from this Call for Applications should not exceed EUR 40,000 per year for a single grant.

NOTICE – USAID invites non-governmental organizations to apply for funding!

USAID Kosovo invites qualified for-profit, non-profit and non-governmental organizations to express interest for receiving funding for the implementation of innovative approaches that sustainably increase the competitiveness of key export-oriented sectors in Kosovo: wood processing (including modular houses and prefabricated buildings), ICT and food sector. Funding for proposals involving diaspora engagement may also cover other sectors in addition to those mentioned. In this Call for Applications, eligible organizations can apply for funding ranging from €40,000 to €80,000.

The main goal of the five-year USAID Kosovo Compete Activity program is to enable greater competitiveness of private sector on domestic, regional and international markets through a sustainable approach that empowers companies, organizations and relevant institutions in overcoming systemic limitations. The main areas of work of the USAID Kosovo Compete Activity program include: market access; diversified finances; business enhancement; skills development; and business environment support.

The USAID Kosovo Compete Activity program is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and is implemented by DT Global, as main contractor, together with the organizations Recura Financials and Canopy Lab as subcontractors. NOTICE – OPEN CALL FOR SMALL GRANTS FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSOs)

The Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), on behalf of the Southeast European Leadership for Development and Integrity (SELDI), announces a regional Call for Proposals for the SELDI small grants program: “Financial support to local and youth civil society organizations with access to citizens” (Reference number 10 -46/1-2024). The Call for Proposals falls within the scope of the Project: “Civil Society for Good Governance and Anti-Corruption in Southeast Europe: Building Capacity for Evidence-Based Advocacy, Policy Influence and Citizen Engagement (SELDI.net)”, funded by the European Union.

The SELDI small grants program seeks to strengthen the contribution of civil society organizations from the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia), in fight against corruption and their inclusion in the cycle of advocacy and policy influence of SELDI, through financial prioritizing civil society organizations, including local and youth CSOs, which are active in fight against corruption.

The overall objective of this call for proposals is to support local CSOs in implementing the EU and regional anti-corruption agenda in target countries, and in line with the issues identified in the SELDI Regional Anti-Corruption Report (RAR), SELDI Policy Papers and the latest  reports on enlargement package for target countries.

NOTIFICATION: The Kosovo Women’s Network (RrGK) is opening a vacancy for a Public Relations Coordinator!

Required qualifications for the Coordinator are:

  • At least a bachelor degree in communications, journalism or a similar field;
  • At least one year of relevant experience in the field of journalism/communications and/or public relations;
  • Experience in writing, compiling and publishing articles on women’s rights and/or gender equality desired;
  • Excellent knowledge of social media;
  • Oral and written knowledge of Albanian and English languages,
  • Oral and written knowledge of Serbian language is welcome, but not mandatory;

To be able to apply you need to submit a motivation letter, CV, recommendation and an essay on gender equality in Albanian language;
