INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CITIZENS:
NOTIFICATION: THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY IS OFFERING SUBSIDIES TO CITIZENS!
On 12 September 2024, the Ministry of Economy launched a Public Call for Subsidies for efficient heating equipment for houses and apartments funded by the European Union in Kosovo (EU).
The measures presented are aimed at supporting family consumers, especially consumers in need, such as investing in the installation of efficient heating equipment, which include:
- Heat pumps,
- Air conditioners/efficient air conditioning,
- Biomass water heaters (wood, pellets, briquettes), i
- Individual biomass stove.
The value of the subsidy for the heat pumps is thirty percent (30%) of the value of the investment, i.e. up to 2,000.00 EUR.
For air conditioner/air conditioning, the value of the subsidy per unit is forty percent (40%) of the investment value, i.e. up to 400.00 euros. For single parents and citizens benefiting from the Social Assistance Scheme (Category 1 and 2), sixty percent (60%) of the investment value is subsidized up to 550.00 EUR.
For biomass water heaters (wood, pellets, briquettes), seventy percent (70%) of the investment value is subsidized up to 1,200.00 EUR.
For individual biomass stoves, the value of the subsidy for one (1) unit is seventy percent (70%) of the investment value and up to 435.00 EUR. For single parents and citizens benefiting from the Social Assistance Scheme (Category 1 and 2), ninety percent (90%) of the investment value is subsidized, i.e. up to 560.00 euros.

Equipment purchased before the Call announcement date will not be subsidized.
Citizens who were beneficiaries of the subsidy for the purchase of efficient heating equipment, in one of the public calls: Public Call no. 02/2022, dated 06 October 2022; Public Call no. 03/2022 dated 18 November 2022; or; Public Call no. 03/2023 dated 22 September 2023 are not entitled to apply for subsidies for efficient heating devices within the framework of Public Call no. 05/ 2024.
Deadline for applying: October 11, 2024.
Applications received will be considered on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
