SUPPORT FOR REPRESENTATION
The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF), within the EJA Kosovo program, provides financial support to non-governmental organizations aiming to represent their work and issues in regional and international forums. The aim of this support is to strengthen the role of civil society in the formulation and implementation of policies that affect the community and the general public.
Who can apply?
Representatives of local non-governmental organizations may apply for this form of support, except for the following excluded categories of NGOs:
- Sports clubs and federations, amateur cultural associations and religious organizations.
- NGOs representing businesses or similar entities that clearly have the financial capacity to cover their organizational expenses or support their activities are not the target of KCSF grants.
- Branches of foreign and international NGOs registered in Kosovo are not eligible to apply.
- The applicant organization must not be led by Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and must accept and commit to implementing the Core Values for EJA grants.
Selection Criteria
For an applicant to be eligible for this support, representation must aim to achieve at least one of the following:
- Presenting the organization’s work before a regional/international audience;
- Presenting or advocating for specific issues of interest to the organization or the country in regional/international forums;
- Creating opportunities for networking or strategic cooperation with other regional/international organizations and donors;
- Presenting experiences and operational practices of the organization or addressing issues of interest to the country or organization;

- Strategic meetings, networking and advocacy
- Network, board and committee meetings

Call for financial support for NGO networking
Within the EJA Kosovo program, the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF), with the aim of strengthening the role of civil society in democratic development, provides financial support for NGO membership in regional and international networks to foster joint actions with regional and international partners.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Local non-governmental organizations, except for the following excluded categories:
- Regardless of their legal status, sports clubs, sports federations, amateur cultural associations or religious organizations registered as NGOs are not the target of KCSF grants.
- Similarly, NGOs representing businesses or similar entities that clearly have the financial capacity to cover their organizational expenses or support their activities are not the target of KCSF grants.
- Branches of foreign and international NGOs registered in Kosovo are not eligible to apply.
APPLICATION CRITERIA
All applications will be considered individually and evaluated by the Evaluation Committee based on the following criteria:
- The benefits the organization will gain from this membership;
- The alignment of the applicant organization’s mission and scope of activities with the mission and scope of the network in which membership is sought.
- The organization must not be led or managed by Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
- The organization must accept and commit to implementing the Core Values for EJA grants.
- Among applications that equally meet the above criteria, priority will be given to:
- Organizations that cannot cover the membership fee from other sources;
- Organizations that have not previously received support for networking from KCSF.
WHAT IS FUNDED?
- Payment of membership fees in regional/international networks.
- Bank transfer fees.

SMALL GRANTS FOR PROJECTS
The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) provides small grants for projects aimed at supporting innovative and concrete initiatives with a clear impact within a specific time frame.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Individuals (citizens of the Republic of Kosovo);
- Unregistered initiatives;
- Local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) registered in Kosovo.
TIMEFRAME AND BUDGET
Applicants will have the opportunity to apply for support for a maximum period of 12 months. The maximum budget for a grant requested for funding under this call should not exceed 10,000 EUR (including audit costs).
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Applicants must provide their information, elaborate on their ideas, and submit the necessary documents via the online application system.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR BENEFICIARIES OF THE SOCIAL ASSISTANCE REFORM PILOT
The Social Assistance Reform continues to include thousands of families in Kosovo, with verification visits in the field still in process. Those selected to benefit from the reform pilot must register at the Employment Office of the respective municipality within 30 working days. This is a crucial step to continue benefiting from the program, as failure to comply with this requirement may result in the cessation of benefits.
Registration should only be done for family members who are able to work, excluding those deemed unfit for work, as well as other specific groups such as single parents of children under 18, individuals caring for children or family members with disabilities, individuals pursuing continuous education up to the age of 26, pregnant women, and parents caring for infants up to 12 months old. For all individuals aged 18 to 65, who do not fall into the exempt categories, registration is mandatory.
Employment advisors are available to assist with the registration process and to create an Individual Employment Plan, supporting the inclusion of individuals in the labour market and providing opportunities for training and skill development subsidies. (CLICK for more info).
