The Office for Community Affairs has supported the manifestation of November 5, the International Day of the Roma Language, which was held in Prizren. On this event, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Sylejman Elshani, the Deputy of the Republic of Kosovo, Erxhan Galushi, as well as the Commissioner for Language Slavisha Madenoviq were present. The purpose of this activity was to remember the history, tradition and culture of the Roma community as well as to promote their language.
The Prime Minister also gave a very inspiring speech in support of the Roma community and the preservation of the Roma language.
