Municipal Offices for Communities and Return met with the Prime Minister!

On October 7, 2024, the Office for Community Affairs organized a meeting of representatives of Municipal Offices for Communities and Return with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo. The Deputy Prime Minister for Communities, Emilija Redžepi, the Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rašić, and the Minister of Local Self-Government, Elbert Krasniqi attended the meeting.

A total of fifteen (15) municipalities attended this meeting, where representatives of Municipal Offices for Communities and Return could hear about the Government’s achievements in relation to non-majority communities, as well as the opportunities offered by the Government through the above-mentioned ministries. The representatives of Municipal Offices for Communities and Return also had the opportunity to present issues they are facing with in their daily work in their municipalities, as well as recommendations on what the central institutions should change to support work of the offices, and to be as involved as possible in decision-making processes at the local level, as well as what are the issues that the non-majority communities are facing with in from their respective municipalities.
