The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation has published a Call for the Allocation of Scholarships to High School Students from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities for the 2024/2025 academic year.
General conditions for awarding scholarships:
Scholarships are awarded to students from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities enrolled in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades of higher secondary education, high schools, and vocational schools in the Republic of Kosovo, for the academic year 2024/2025.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Inclusion of students from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities in upper secondary education in public schools of the Republic of Kosovo;
- Providing initiatives, including awarding scholarships to reduce dropout among students from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities;
- Increasing the number of students who attend upper secondary education, through financial support via scholarships;
- Increasing student success by providing financial support.
