The Office for Community Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Security and the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Community Affairs, Ms. Gowing, participated and supported this Open Day initiative for non-majority communities, which was organized at the Kosovo Army Barracks on November 27th 2023.
The implementation of this initiative was helped by non-governmental organizations that gathered interested youth and children to visit the barracks in Istog, Ferizaj, Pristina and Gjilan where they had an opportunity to learn more about their work and equipment.
The Office for Community Affairs is grateful for the cooperation of the organizations: Advancing Together, Balkansunflowers Kosova, Caritas Kosova and Vizion 02 for their cooperation in achieving the goal of providing work in institutions for non-majority communities in order to increase their participation and presence. About 260 adults and children, accompanied by representatives of the organizations, visited the barracks in question, while the transportation of the visitors was financed by the office of community affairs.
