Round table organized the Ashkali community!

The Community Affairs Office organized a round table with Ashkali representatives so that they could share with the Prime Minister the challenges their community is facing with. In addition to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, his deputy for human rights issues, Emilija Rexhepi, also participated in this meeting. During the conversation, the prime minister informed the participants about the government’s plans as well as the existing opportunities available to ease the lives of non-majority communities.

One of the participants of the Ashkali community shared information about the high costs of maintaining bank accounts for beneficiaries with minimal income such as social assistance, where the Prime Minister reacted immediately through the relevant ministries and resolved the problem very quickly after this meeting.
