Based on Article 10 of Law No. 06/L-010 on Notary, amended and supplemented by Law No. 08/L-149 and Law No. 08/L-272, as well as Decision 36/2025, dated 06.02.2025, the Ministry of Justice publishes:
REANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PUBLIC COMPETITION FOR THE SELECTION OF NOTARIES
All interested candidates who wish to apply for the notary selection competition are hereby notified that:
The Ministry of Justice announces 28 vacant positions for Notary in the following municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo:
- Municipality of Prishtina, five (5) notaries;
- Municipality of Prizren, five (5) notaries;
- Municipality of Ferizaj, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Podujeva, three (3) notaries;
- Municipality of Vushtrri, two (2) notaries;
- Municipality of Gllogovc, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Malisheva, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Istog, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Klina, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Fushë Kosova, two (2) notaries;
- Municipality of Dragash, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Kaçanik, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Zveçan, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Ranillug, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Partesh, one (1) notary;
- Municipality of Leposaviq, one (1) notary.
The application/request must be accompanied by certified documents proving that the candidate meets the legal requirements as follows:
- Certificate of citizenship;
- Court confirmation that the candidate has not been deprived of legal capacity;
- A sworn statement from the applicant regarding personal and professional integrity, which must be submitted NOTARIZED;
- Proof of passing the Jurisprudence Exam;
- Certificate of passing the Notary Exam, issued by the Minister of Justice, which must be submitted as a NOTARIZED copy;
- Proof that the candidate has not been convicted by a final court decision for a criminal offense, which must be submitted in original or as a NOTARIZED copy;
- Bank account statement for the last six (6) months or other proof that the candidate is financially capable of establishing a notary office, including securing the necessary premises and equipment for the notarial function.
The deadline for submitting the application documentation starts from 15.02.2025 until 21.02.2025.
The application documentation should be submitted to the Ministry of Justice (former Rilindja Building), ground floor, Archive of the Ministry of Justice, Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo, every working day from 08:00 to 16:00.
To ensure the expansion of notarial services across the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, any candidate applying in this public reannouncement is considered to accept an appointment in any municipality of the Republic of Kosovo where there are vacant notary positions.
Additional Clarification:
Candidates who applied for the notary position in the Public Competition for the Selection of Notaries dated 17.12.2024 do not need to reapply. This reannouncement of the public competition is considered to replace the Public Competition for the Selection of Notaries dated 17.12.2024.
